Betty Odgaard, owner of Gortz Haus is suing the Iowa Civil Rights Commission over finding they violated the civil rights of a gay couple by refusing to allow their wedding at her business, an art gallery and wedding venue, saying it violated her religious beliefs. The lawsuit claims the Odgaard's don't display art that violates their religious beliefs, and the state can't force them to violate their religious beliefs by planning and hosting gay wedding ceremonies.
