Iowa DOT's going to rescind about 3,200 license plates issued to government agencies that have a special confidential status and reissue only those that are justified for sensitive work. Gov. Branstad ordered a review in July to cut the number of those plates, which also lets them avoid tickets from traffic cameras. DOT will reissue those that are necessary.
