Iowa Court Rejects DNA Test Request in Murder Case

Iowa's Court of Appeals has rejected a request from a man serving life for the murder of his brother's entire family in 1975. Jerry Mark asked for DNA tests on cigarette butts found at the crime scene. He argued it may call into question whether he was even there. KCCI reports the court ruled testing would do little to undermine the state's "exceptionally strong, albeit circumstantial, case."
