Polk County's hired former Iowa DOT administrator Mark Wandro as its new county administrator. He replaces David Jones who's moved on to the job as Ankeny's City Manager. WHO-TV reports Wandro was an Assistant Polk County Engineer for more than 10 years. His new job will pay $185,000.
