The Ames public library has temporarily closed its doors because
most of its staff members are sick. A message on the library's
website says it closed today after 25 employees called in sick. State
and county public health officials are testing whether norovirus is
the cause of the illnesses. And the library is being cleaned and
disinfected while it's closed. The Ames library is temporarily housed
in a strip mall while the main building undergoes renovations.
