Regents Consultant

A consultant will be looking at whether to privatize non-essential university enterprises like golf course and power plants... the Iowa board of regents hired Deloitte consulting for 2 and a half million dollars... the group will find ways to cut costs, boost revenue, and improve services at the university of Iowa, the university of northern Iowa, and Iowa state university. regents board president Bruce Rastetter said deloitte also will probably find ways to save money by pooling the universities' buying power and cutting down on duplicate programs.
