Stabbing Death

Authorities are investigating a suspicious death on the Meskwaki (MESK-waukee) settlement Monday night. Police have not released the name of the person, who died of a stabbing according to 9-1-1 callers. Monday night, DCI Special Agent Rick Rahn said authorities were detaining one person for questioning. They believe that person was involved in the crime. So far no charges have been filed. KCCI reports an autopsy will be conducted at the State Medical Examiner's Office in Ankeny.
