School Boundary Meetings Start

Parents and residents are getting a chance to provide feedback on a plan to change school boundaries in Des Moines. You can find an interactive map showing the current Des Moines Public School and proposed boundaries on the district's website. The map allows you to zoom into the neighborhood level to see exactly where the boundaries would be. School officials said the changes would likely go into effect in the 2015-2016 school year. DMPS is also planning a series of public meetings for parents to learn more about the proposal.
