Deer Harvest

For the first time since the 1990s, Iowa’s deer harvest has dropped below 100,000. State DNR officials say hunters took just over 99,000 deer last year. in 2013. That’s a drop of 14 percent from 2012. Officials also say the number of hunting licenses issued is also down.
