Get ready for the 2013 Desiring the Arts Festival next Saturday at McSweeny's School of the Performing Arts. The concert will consist of a variety of musical styles and some original works. Concert proceeds go to the McSweeny-Buhr Scholarship for the Arts, which is for graduating high school students pursuing further education/training towards a career in the arts. Advance tickets can be purchased at the Michael G. Buhr Agency - American Family Insurance at 812 N. 15th St., and cost $5 students and $10 adults.
