Witnesses say a motorcycle rider was speeding before rear ending a car yesterday afternoon at the intersection of Hickman and Prospect Road. WHO-TV reports 53-year old William Sears of Des Moines was taken to Methodist Medical Center. Paramedics say Sears had big cuts to his stomach and chest. Hospital officials haven't released his condition, but Des Moines PD say Sears is still in the hospital.
