A Boone County Joshua Powell of first degree murder for the death of his wife last October. WHO-TV reports Powell will be sentenced in June. The mandatory sentence for first degree murder is life in prison. Prosecutors say Powell strangled his wife to death during an argument and didn't call authorities until the following day.
