West Des Moines School Board tonight will take up how they plan to bring in a new school superintendent after they fired Peter Ansingh last week. The Des Moines Register reports there's been no word on whether or not they will name an interim superintendent. It could cost the district $270,000 between severance for Ansingh and the search for his replacement.
