MidAmerican Energy says construction's underway on all five of its new wind turbine sites in Grundy, Madison, Marshall, O’Brien and Webster counties. WHO-TV reports the combined projects are part of the largest wind energy expansion in Iowa’s history. The 5-sites combined will add almost 450-wind turbines to Iowa's inventory. All the turbine blades are being built in Ft. Madison.
