One Local Farmer Grows Turkeys Too Big for the Oven

Iowa ranks ninth in the nation when it comes to turkey production. But one area farmer says you won't find one of his turkeys on you Thanksgiving table this year. Steve Burrows tells KWWL-TV the birds he breeds average about 40 pounds, while most consumers buy turkeys in the 16-pound range. As a result, Burrows says he doesn't see an uptick in business around Thanksgiving.
