Police yesterday arrested a Des Moines man for trying to run over someone with his car.
The Des Moines Register reports police taking 46-year-old Simon Alatorre into custody outside Beer Can Alley on Court Avenue.
The manager apparently asked Alatorre and another man to leave when they started arguing.
Witnesses say Alatorre drove his car toward them and hit a fire hydrant. He allegedy backed up and tried hitting them again, but this time he hit a utility box.
