A Polk County judge sentenced Michael Stewart today to 50-years in prison for a 2011 attack on his ex-girlfriend Nicole Ague. Stewart was convicted of attempted murder, third-degree sexual abuse, willful injury and going armed with intent. Ague's three children, who were home at the time, found her, and went to a neighbor who called police.
