A Winter Weather Advisory's in effect, which includes the Des Moines metro area, until 9a.m. tomorrow. Rain's expected to change over to snow tonight, with the strongest snowfall between midnight and 5a.m. According to KCCI, 1-to-4" is expected, but some areas could get higher totals. Winds are expected to pick up, with some gusts over 30 mph. There could be some slick spots for the morning commute.
