Man Gets 20 Yrs for Heroin Death

An Ames man will do 20 years in the federal pen for selling heroin to a man who died of an overdose. 25-year-old Marcus Burrage got the sentence on Thursday for heroin distribution that caused death. The U.S. attorney's office said he was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Des Moines. Burrage was convicted in June for selling heroin to and informant in late 2009 and to an informant in November 2009 and to 32-year-old Joshua Banka in April 2010. Banka was the one who died at his home in Nevada..
