Branstad Bilingual Education

Gov. Branstad talked about the advantages bilingual students have when they hit the global workforce. The governor was at Marshalltown High School today, which has a large Spanish speaking student body. According to the Des Moines Register, the Governor also says he’s not sure dual-language competency should be required, though learning languages other than English should be encouraged
