Des Moines Public Schools have a about 100-students without musical instruments to play, and they want your help. KCCI reports the district's holding an "Instrument Encore" tomorrow to collect band and orchestra instruments for students who can't afford to buy their own. It's at the Barnes and Noble 4550 University Ave. from noon to 4. They're especially in need of brass, percussion, woodwinds, and strings.
