Iowa's casino's will not be taking part in next Thursday's “Great American Smokeout.” The Des Moines Register reports the Iowa Gaming Association's declined a request from several anti smoking groups to ban smoking in their facilities the day of the event. Casinos are the only public place in Iowa where indoor smoking is still allowed, and anti-smoking advocates have been lobbying the Legislature to stop it.
