Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids was briefly evacuated this morning, after a passenger reported a suspicious item in a trash can. Authorities tell KCCI the item was a plastic bottle wrapped in duct tape.A Cedar Rapid PD robot was called in to remove the item. Police then determined it wasn't a threat and normal operations resumed around noon.
