Over two dozen people were standing out in the cold around 4:30 this morning, while firefighters put out a fire in a kitchen trash can at Somerset Apartments. The fire, at 6620 Southeast 5th Street, did about $25,000 damage to one apartment. There was no serious damage to any of the other units. The cause of the fire's still under investigation.
