Gov. Branstad says cutting commercial property taxes is a priority for 2013. The Governor says the state treasury's is strong enough to handle whatever revenue local governments' lose when commercial property taxes are cut. The latest revenue projection's for the state to take in 3% more revenue in the 20913 budget year than in 2012. The legislature returns to work January 14th.
