Des Moines firefighter Robbie Hilzer had to be treated for non life threatening injuries today when he had to dive into a ditch to get out of the way of a vehicle. KCCI reports Hilzer was walking behind a fire truck, watching for traffic as it backed out of a cul-de-sac onto E. Army Post Road when he was almost run over.
