Des Moines streak of no measurable snow is now at 274-days. The National Weather Service says the current record is 277-days set in 1889. The last measurable snow in the metro was in March, and it was 0.2". Yesterday, Des Moines hit a record 69-degrees. One other detail-the temperature in Des Moines hit at least 60-degrees in each of the last 23-consecutive months.
