Police and firefighters were called to Des Moines main post office today after a call hit the building. KCCI reports witnesses say the driver backed into the building at 1165 2nd Avenue. Several windows were broken in the incident. The driver, who wasn't seriously hurt, says she was having trouble getting the car in gear, and hit the gas when it finally shifted into reverse.
