Construction's due to start Monday on I-35 in West Des Moines. The work's scheduled to run through December. The work includes adding new southbound lanes between the I-35, I-80, and I-235 interchange and the Raccoon River Bridge, and rebuilding the Grand Avenue interchange. During the work, there'll be 2 lanes of traffic in each directions.
