KU coach accepts apology from ISU student government

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) - Kansas basketball coach Bill Self is accepting an apology from Iowa State's student government after this week's overtime victory. The sixth-ranked Jayhawks rallied in the closing minutes of a game, forcing overtime before rolling to a 108 to 96 victory. That prompted an Iowa State fan to try to charge Self after a postgame interview and sparked racist and threatening comments on Twitter about Elijah Johnson, who scored 39 points.
