Drake University's fired its men's head basketball coach Mark Phelps. KCCI reports Phelps, was in his 5th season as head coach, and had a record of 77-86 record. The 47-year old was named head coach after the departure of Keno Davis in 2008. Before coming to Drake, Phelps was an assistant at North Carolina State and Arizona State.
