State Senate Pushing bill for Bigger Tax Break for Middle Income Households

Under a bill moving through the state senate, some of you could get a bigger break on your taxes. KCCI reports under the bill households earning under $45,000/year would get an extra $250 tax break. It would raise the state credit from 7-to-20% of a taxpayer's federal earned income tax credit. A committee approved it yesterday, and it goes to the full Senate.
