Des Moines Water Works says it hopes to have the water main repaired at Elliot Apartments on Court Street sometime tonight. The main broke yesterday flooding the basement where all of the utilities, and boiler are. Water Works CEO and GM Bill Stowe says getting residents back to their apartments may take a few days since the city has to do inspections of everything that was damaged.
