A former officer, fired from the Des Moines Police Department in May after officers discovered drugs in his collision-damaged squad car, has been sentenced to three years probation for possession of weapons in violation of his probation on drug convictions.
Judge Scott Rosenberg warned Brandon Singleton that any further infractions would place him immediately behind bars.
The judge said if Singleton violated his probation again, no matter how minor the offense, he would be sent to prison.
