John Ward says he's going after the GOP nomination to fill his late wife's 22nd State Senate District seat. Pat Ward was running for reelection when she died of cancer last month. A special election to fill her seat's December 11th. The Iowa Republican party's having a nominating convention November 8th. John Ward's an attorney and former WDM School Board President.
