Des Moines Park and Recreation Department's renewed Occupy Des Moines permit for the use of Stewart Square for another week. They've been there since October 14th after they were denied a new permit for the Iowa State Capital grounds. A city spokesperson says they're reviewing the situation on a week to week basis. Outrage over what protesters describe as corporate greed and growing income inequality have helped fuel the Occupy movement.
