The Des Moines Business Record's reporting a new restaurant's expected to open soon in West Des Moines at what used to be Mondo's. A family owned Asian restaurant's expected to open at 4001 Westown parkway before the end of the year. The operators have restaurants in northern Iowa, Minnesota, California and Chicago. The location's about a block away from the new Whole Foods expected to open next year.
