38-year old Shane Roberts of Beaver Township's in the Polk County Jail on weapons charges after he was involved with a standoff with Polk County Sheriff's Deputies last night. Police tell the Des Moines Register this all happened last night in a home in the 8800 block of Northeast 27th Avenue. Deputies say they heard multiple gunshots when they arrived. Roberts surrendered after 2 and a half hours.
