Kevin Dalasta's going to have a two month mental health evaluation before Polk County prosecutors decide whether or not to drop vehicular homicide charges against him. Dalasta was charged in 2010 for killing two children when he ran a stop sign and hit their van in Ankeny. His trial's been repeatedly delayed due to issues with his recovery from multiple brain surgeries.
