Ground was broken this morning, and crews started tearing down several buildings for the extension of the Southeast Connector's 2-mile extension from SE 15th Street to SE 30th Street. KCCI reports work's already started on the Connector's link from Southwest 14th Street to SE 9th to link up with Martin Luther King Parkway running through the south side of downtown.
