Federal Appeals Court Rejects Effort to Block More Ethanol in Gasoline

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit's rejected an effort by the trade associations of engine makers, food producers and petroleum producers to block EPA decisions to raise the blend of ethanol tin gasoline to 15% for light duty vehicles made since 2001. The court ruled the trade groups has no standing to sue, since they couldn't prove their members had been harmed by the EPA decisions.
