The Iowa State Patrol's warning drivers to expect slow traffic in Boone starting tomorrow with the opening of the 2012 Farm Progress Show. Organizers expect 200,000 people to attend the three-day event, and they'll be driving 20,000 cars and trucks to Boone County tomorrow through Thursday. The heaviest traffic's expected on I-35 near Ames, U.S. Highway 30 between Ames and Boone, and state Highway 17 near Boone.
