Our kids are back in school for the most part and agencies are working hard to ensure that they all have enough to eat. The food Bank of Iowa backpack program started in 2006 and provided food for 24 students. That number is now more than 2500 students. Booster pak works with the organization to help cover the need in Wes Des Moines schools. They are extended their program into Valley Southwoods this year. The Booster pak program serves about 90 kids.
