Clipper Windpower, which has a wind turbine plant in Cedar Rapids, is eliminating 174 jobs. The Cedar Rapids Gazette reports the company's downsizing in response to challenges facing the industry. After the cuts, the company's workforce will be down to 376 jobs. A spokesperson says they won't be shutting down any plants, and they don't know yet how many of the cuts will be made in Cedar Rapids.
