A 16-year-old East High student's been busted for carrying weapons and drug paraphernalia after he was spotted near the school with two other teens. The Des Moines Register reports the parents say one teen was semi-conscious. They say all three appeared to be under the influence is narcotics. The boy on the ground was taken to Broadlawns, the other to Mercy with an elevated heart rate. The weapon recovered-brass knuckles.
