Iowa’s veterans have seen a lot of battles but the latest one really gets under their skin. The Iowa Veterans Home–the largest nursing home exclusively for veterans and their spouses in the state–is waging a war against bed-bugs. For the last year the home has spent close to thrity thousand dollars fighting the tiny enemies - which can only be treated with expensive chemicals or heating the rooms to extreme temperatures. Working with a pest control company is where they are now in the battle - but it's tough with the number of residents who live there and the vistors that come and go there's always a chance the enemy will return
