Iowa's GOP Chairman A.J. Spiker's calling on voters to vote not to retain State Supreme Court Justice David Wiggins in November. Wiggins is one of the 7 who voted to toss the state ban on same-sex marriage in 2009. Spiker called Wiggins an activist judge. Wiggins issued a statement saying in part: "Two of the branches of government are designed to be political. It's unfortunate Mr. Spiker apparently thinks that all three branches should be political."
