Police say it took more than two hours to remove a body from the Des Moines River after it was found yesterday afternoon. The body was spotted at about 5 p.m. near Prospect Park. Police tell KCCI an autopsy will be performed to learn the identity of the person found dead. Prospect Park is located near Broadlawns Medical Center, northeast of Hickman Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway.
