Five teachers at the Iowa School for the Deaf in Council Bluffs could lose their jobs in the face of budget cuts. The Iowa Board of Regents will consider approving the layoffs at a meeting in Ames next week. The school serves students from Iowa and Nebraska who are deaf or hard-of-hearing from preschool through age 21.
