Iowa House Speaker Kraig Paulsen today stamped out a move by republican house members to impeach 4 state supreme court justices. Five Republican lawmakers had filed resolutions in the House yesterday to impeaching the justices who ruled in favor of legalizing same-sex marriage in 2009. KCCI reports Paulsen says while he agrees with some of the reasoning behind impeachment, he doesn't buy the remedy, and if it came up for debate, he'd vote no.
